Kickoff Connections: Meet & Mingle
Arrival at Kotoka International Airport (ACC)
- Welcome and pick up from the airport

Step into the past: Exploring the history of the Transatlantic Slave Trade
Early Departure from Accra after breakfast
- Pick up from hotel and take a road trip to the Central Region (approx. 3 hours)
Arrival at Cape Coast Castle
- Guided tour of the castle and museum
- Learn about the history of the transatlantic slave trade and its impact on Ghana and the world
Lunch Break
- Enjoy local/continental meal at a nearby resort
- Take in the beach and explore the surrounding areas
Return to Accra
- Drive back to Accra, with scenic points along the way
Arrive in Accra
- Rest and relax at the hotel, with time to process the emotional experiences of the day

Immersed in Nature’s Bliss: Waterfalls, Gardens, and Cocoa Delights
Depart from Accra after breakfast
- Drive to the Eastern Region (approx. 1 hr. 30 mins.)
Visit the Aburi Botanical Gardens
- Take a leisurely walk through the gardens
- Take photos, capturing memories amidst the iconic palm trees
- Learn about the diverse plant species and their significance
Visit the Asenema Waterfalls
- A short hike to the waterfalls and enjoy the scenic views
- Take a refreshing dip in the natural pool (optional)
Visit Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm
- Learn about the history and importance of cocoa in Ghana
- See the cocoa trees and learn about the harvesting process
Lunch Break
- Enjoy a local/continental meal at a nearby resort
Return to Accra
- Drive back to Accra, with time to reflect on the day’s adventures
This itinerary allows for a relaxed pace, with time to appreciate the natural beauty of the Eastern Region. Remember to wear comfortable shoes for the hike to the falls and dress appropriately for the outdoor activities.
Honoring History and Embracing Culture: Visiting the Mausoleum and exploring the famous Oxford Street in Osu
Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum
- Learn about the life and legacy of Ghana’s first president, Kwame Nkrumah
- Pay respects at the mausoleum and explore the surrounding memorial park
Shopping at the OSU Market
- Explore the vibrant streets of OSU, known for its boutiques, art galleries, and markets

Lunch in OSU
- Enjoy a meal at one of OSU’s popular restaurants
Return to Hotel

This itinerary allows for a morning of exploring Ghana’s history and culture followed by a relaxing lunch. After lunch, I’ll make sure everyone gets to the airport safely and on time for their flights home.
